Senior Mobile Software Engineer (iOS)

Location: Remote, Montreal

Salary: $100,000–$150,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, build, maintain, and release the native iOS application using Swift and SwiftUI.
• Own the iOS release lifecycle, including code signing, provisioning, TestFlight, App Store submission, phased rollouts, and crash triage.
• Design scalable architecture, modularization, dependency injection, navigation, state management, and SwiftUI component systems.
• Integrate mini-apps, payments, virtual currency, third-party SDKs, and REST/GraphQL APIs.
• Build AI-powered product features using Core ML, Foundation Models, and server-side LLMs.
• Collaborate with product, design, backend, QA, Android, React Native, and project teams across multiple time zones.

Requirements

• 5+ years of professional iOS development experience with deep expertise in Swift.
• Commercial iOS applications currently live in the App Store.
• Strong knowledge of SwiftUI, Swift Concurrency, Combine, UIKit interoperability, Observation, MVVM, Clean Architecture, dependency injection, and state management.
• Experience with XCTest, Swift Testing, snapshot and UI tests, CI/CD, Xcode Cloud or Fastlane, and Instruments profiling.
• Daily professional use of AI coding agents and AI-assisted development tools, including reviewing and validating generated code.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

Nice to have

• Experience with widgets, App Intents, Live Activities, push notifications, deep linking, StoreKit 2, or in-app purchase systems.
• Experience bridging Swift modules into React Native or using Kotlin Multiplatform.
• Experience with gaming ecosystems, virtual currencies, digital commerce, mobile security, or fraud prevention.
• Open-source contributions, technical writing, or conference talks in mobile or AI engineering.
