Airbus UpNext Internship 2026 - Project Management Officer (m/f) (Aerospace, 5G NTN)

What you will do

• Support the Head of Demonstrator in tracking project performance against time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Monitor financial metrics, prepare management reports, and maintain the master schedule for space and telecommunications milestones.
• Track procurement requests, supply-chain logistics, hardware deliveries, project data, and documentation.
• Prepare governance materials and support progress reviews with the steering committee.
• Maintain the risk and opportunity register and track mitigation actions with engineering teams.
• Act as an interface across space engineering and telecommunications teams while helping establish collaborative, agile processes.

Requirements

• Currently enrolled in the final year of a Master's degree or Engineering School programme (Bac+5) in project management, aerospace engineering, or telecommunications.
• Interest in project management methodologies, including budget, schedule, and risk management.
• Curiosity about the space and telecommunications sectors, particularly 5G NTN.
• Agile, proactive, autonomous, adaptable, and accountable approach.
• Strong team-player mindset and willingness to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment.
• Strong English communication skills required.

Nice to have

• Academic knowledge or a first internship in project management.
• Interest or experience in aerospace project development.
