Vice President, Data & Analytics Engineering

Compensation: $255,000–$320,000 per year

What you will do

• Lead engineering strategy across CRM/MarTech, enterprise data, analytics, and integration platforms.
• Define architecture standards, canonical data models, API governance, data SLAs, and modernization roadmaps.
• Build and scale engineering organizations, including internal leaders, technical program management, and vendor teams.
• Oversee Customer 360, segmentation, clienteling, and email/SMS marketing platforms for personalized customer engagement.
• Advance data platforms, ingestion pipelines, data quality, metadata, lineage, BI, and AI/ML enablement.
• Own integration lifecycle, governance, observability, incident management, reliability targets, and secure platform operations.

Requirements

• 18+ years of software or data engineering experience, including 10+ years in leadership and 5+ years managing managers or multi-layer engineering organizations.
• Proficiency in Python or Java and experience with distributed systems and large-scale data platforms such as BigQuery.
• Experience with Enterprise Service Bus, event-driven and messaging-based integrations, microservices, API-first architectures, and API lifecycle governance.
• Strong knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases, ETL/ELT, warehousing, pipeline testing, streaming, event sourcing, and observability.
• Experience with BI tools such as Tableau, MicroStrategy, or Looker, plus customer engagement, email, or SMS marketing platforms.
• Strong understanding of data governance, data quality, privacy, compliance, executive communication, and cross-functional leadership.
