What you will do

• Assist with the design and preparation of plans for commercial, residential, and site development projects.
• Develop grading, drainage, and utility layouts and analyze design alternatives for site constraints.
• Support permitting and regulatory compliance for site development projects.
• Prepare technical reports, studies, and project documentation using MS Office Suite.
• Direct and review engineering technicians’ work and collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field from an ABET-accredited program.
• EIT certification or the ability to obtain it within 12 months of starting.
• Familiarity with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, written, and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to establish effective working relationships and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
• Position is intended for candidates graduating in Summer 2027.

Nice to have

• Internship experience with a civil design firm.
• Knowledge of engineering principles, techniques, and procedures.
