Digital Solutions Engineer – Platform Services (Cloud/Backend)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services, reusable APIs, microservices, and shared platform capabilities.
• Build integration services connecting ERP, MES, PLM, quality systems, AI platforms, enterprise applications, and cloud services.
• Implement API-first, event-driven, and asynchronous communication patterns across enterprise and manufacturing environments.
• Develop cloud-native applications with containerized deployments, automated testing, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Implement authentication, authorization, API security, monitoring, logging, observability, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies.
• Collaborate with application, data, AI, Smart Factory, and business teams through architecture reviews, code reviews, and Agile delivery.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• Experience developing backend applications, APIs, or enterprise software platforms.
• Proficiency in one or more modern programming languages such as C#, Python, or Java.
• Understanding of API development, system integration, relational databases, cloud computing, and distributed application architecture.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, ownership, and continuous-improvement skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure or AWS cloud-native development, microservices, event-driven architecture, Docker, or Kubernetes.
• Knowledge of enterprise integration patterns, CI/CD, DevOps, or Identity and Access Management.
• Experience with manufacturing or industrial software platforms.
• Experience with Node, GraphQL, gRPC, RabbitMQ, Redis, or Prometheus.
