What you will do

• Develop and optimize high-throughput metrics engines and calculation processes for lending risk metrics.
• Build resilient workflows for scenario evaluation, counterparty assessment, credit ratings, and risk appetite definition.
• Contribute to next-generation AI-driven, cloud-first architecture focused on resiliency and scalability.
• Write production-grade backend code, implement platform upgrades, and resolve complex technical challenges.
• Apply SDLC practices, automated testing, unit testing, and code reviews.
• Collaborate with quantitative engineers, technical leaders, and product managers.

Requirements

• At least 4 years of hands-on software development experience with enterprise-level, business-critical systems.
• Strong backend development experience with Java, Spring Boot, and Python.
• Experience with scalable SDLC practices, CI/CD, automated testing, and code reviews.
• Experience with cloud technologies, preferably AWS, and high-availability patterns.
• Experience implementing or integrating AI-enabled tools, platforms, or automated solutions.
• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, or equivalent practical experience, plus strong analytical and communication skills.

Nice to have

• Financial services experience with domain knowledge in risk or risk engineering systems.
