Investments Intern – Fixed Income Investment Grade

Location: Minneapolis, Minnesota, United States. Hybrid schedule with at least four days per week in the office and up to one day working from home.

Salary: $32.75 per hour, with potential variable compensation depending on the role.

What you will do

• Prepare daily investment reports supporting the portfolio management team.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, analysts, and traders to improve daily workflows.
• Attend cross-functional meetings to evaluate new opportunities for client portfolios.
• Develop tools and reports for investment idea generation, portfolio construction, and monitoring.
• Research investment-grade corporate bonds and broader fixed income markets.
• Learn how research ideas are expressed in client portfolios through interaction with portfolio managers and analysts.

Requirements

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, Economics, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related field.
• Expected graduation in December 2027 or May/June 2028.
• Strong interest in investment management and commitment to contributing to a successful team.
• Must have valid US work authorization that does not now or in the future require visa sponsorship.
• Must be able to work in the office at least four days per week in Minneapolis.

Nice to have

• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
• Knowledge of R, Python, AI tools, or coding agents.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, and familiarity with Bloomberg.
