Senior Software Engineer (Blockchain)

What you will do

• Own and improve a Java data-ingestion service for enriched transfer generation and aggregations.
• Design and tune PostgreSQL transaction batching, indexing, replication, schemas, and query performance.
• Evaluate next-generation technologies through proof-of-concepts, latency benchmarks, and architecture decision records.
• Build and maintain scalable AWS API services handling thousands of requests per second.
• Automate network onboarding, debug production issues across microservices, define SLOs, and participate in on-call rotation.
• Integrate LLM-based tools and build agentic automation for incident triage, self-healing pipelines, and intelligent alerting.

Requirements

• 8+ years of PostgreSQL production experience, including schema design, query optimization, partitioning, replication, and performance tuning for high-throughput workloads.
• 8+ years building Java Spring Boot services with REST APIs, JDBC, connection pooling, and JVM performance profiling.
• Experience with Kafka or equivalent streaming systems, including consumer groups, offset management, and partition-lag debugging.
• Experience operating distributed systems on AWS, including microservices, multi-silo deployments, and Terraform.
• Strong cross-system debugging skills using metrics, logs, and code paths; familiarity with Kubernetes, Python, GitHub Actions, Datadog, Humio, and PagerDuty.
• Comfort with AI-assisted development, agentic engineering practices, technical decision-making, and mentoring.

Nice to have

• Database migration experience, including evaluating and cutting over between storage systems.
• Experience with Flink, Spark, or lakehouse formats such as Delta Lake, Iceberg, or Parquet.
• Kubernetes operations involving StatefulSets, Helm releases, and stateful workloads.
• Interest in cryptocurrency and experience driving technical decisions through RFCs or ADRs.
