Workforce Management Specialist (Retail)

Location: Hybrid role based out of the Toronto Support Office, Toronto, Canada

Salary: CAD 78,400 per year

What you will do

• Set hourly function plans for every store, including Store Management positions, while aligning with sales market goals and salary cost budgets.
• Oversee store function plans with Store Management to support efficient operations and strong staff and customer experiences.
• Monitor sales and hours planning in stores and ensure alignment with market-level targets.
• Coordinate with Controlling teams to align function plans and schedules and support operational execution.
• Support and educate stores on sales planning and scheduling practices that improve efficiency and customer experience.
• Work with Area Managers to synthesize store visit observations and improve workforce planning practices.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or equivalent experience.
• 1–3 years of retail experience, preferably in retail management.
• 1–3 years of experience in a business analyst or finance role.
• Ability to coach and counsel staff and support performance management.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and sales and workforce planning tools.
• Ability to adapt to company-specific systems.
