Process Engineer (Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Create and maintain SAP material masters, routing sequences, component consumption, and work center configurations.
• Provide first-level SAP troubleshooting and support, including detailed cost calculations.
• Plan and implement Engineering Change Requests from R&D to the production floor.
• Lead manufacturing readiness for new product introductions and product transfers from global sites.
• Design and optimize process flows, production line layouts, work instructions, and manufacturing procedures.
• Lead lean manufacturing, Kaizen, and Value Stream Mapping initiatives while improving material flow, cycle time, throughput, line balancing, inventory, and capacity planning.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Manufacturing, Electrical & Electronic, Industrial, or Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years of experience in electronic manufacturing, process engineering, lean manufacturing, and data or cost analysis.
• Proven SAP experience, particularly with MM, routing, and work center setup.
• Experience with SMT, PCBA, final production, and high-mix, low-volume manufacturing.
• Effective communication in English and Bahasa Malaysia is required.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, project management, presentation, ownership, and accountability skills; proficiency in Microsoft Office is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with NPI and product transfer.
• Knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Experience supporting Design for Manufacturing with R&D.
