What you will do
- Support the preparation and filing of statutory financial statements for EMEA entities.
- Coordinate tax return information with regional finance teams and tax advisors.
- Research technical accounting matters under IFRS and local GAAP, including documenting treatments for new or unusual transactions.
- Coordinate external audits, track information requests, and respond to auditor queries.
- Review key balance sheet accounts and reconciliations with the Accounting Operations team.
- Maintain working papers, trackers, and supporting documentation while monitoring accounting, tax, and statutory regulatory changes.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent relevant experience.
- Relevant experience in accounting, audit, statutory reporting, or financial reporting, preferably in a multinational organization.
- Strong understanding of IFRS and interest in developing knowledge of local reporting requirements.
- Understanding of internal controls, reconciliations, and financial governance principles.
- Strong analytical, organizational, documentation, and communication skills.
- Experience with Workiva software is highly desirable.
Nice to have
- Progress toward ACCA, ACA, CPA, or another professional accounting qualification.
- Experience supporting external audits or preparing financial documents and audit schedules.
