Senior Associate AWS Cloud Network Engineer (AWS)

What you will do

• Design, implement, and operate AWS network architectures across multi-account and multi-region environments.
• Build secure networking with Amazon VPC, Transit Gateway, VPC peering, PrivateLink, VPC endpoints, route tables, and Route 53.
• Design and troubleshoot hybrid connectivity using Direct Connect, Site-to-Site VPN, BGP, routing domains, and enterprise firewalls.
• Support DNS, load balancing, private API connectivity, network segmentation, security groups, NACLs, and inspected traffic flows.
• Lead senior-level troubleshooting, incident response, root-cause analysis, change management, and operational readiness.
• Improve resilience, capacity planning, disaster recovery, observability, documentation, and reusable engineering standards.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, engineering, or a related discipline, plus 3+ years of relevant experience, or equivalent experience.
• Strong hands-on experience designing and operating AWS networking infrastructure in enterprise environments.
• Experience with VPC, Transit Gateway, routing, Direct Connect or Site-to-Site VPN, Route 53, DNS, VPC endpoints, PrivateLink, security groups, and network ACLs.
• Strong knowledge of IPv4, TCP/IP, subnetting, CIDR, routing, DNS, network troubleshooting, and BGP or OSPF.
• Infrastructure automation experience with CloudFormation, Terraform, Python, Bash, or AWS CLI.
• Ability to support production environments and critical incident response while collaborating across Cloud, Network, Security, Infrastructure, and Application teams.

Nice to have

• AWS Certified Advanced Networking – Specialty certification.
• Experience with AWS Organizations, multi-region networking, centralized or hybrid DNS, and enterprise firewalls such as Fortinet or Palo Alto.
• Experience with VPC Flow Logs, CloudWatch, packet captures, network telemetry, regulated environments, and cloud security architecture.
