Senior Technical Project Manager (Advanced Development)

Location: Billund Project House, Denmark. Hybrid work is available from home up to two days per week under the Best of Both model; the workplace is the specified office, store, or factory.

What you will do

• Coordinate the full life cycle development of software and hardware solutions and technology platforms with engineering colleagues, focusing on reusability and manufacturability.
• Coordinate with strategic development partners to introduce emerging and advanced technologies into products.
• Lead delivery within agreed time, cost, quality, and volume targets.
• Plan project activities, coordinate workstreams, supervise dependencies, manage change control, and ensure timely decisions and communication.
• Present complex technical decisions to senior stakeholders and drive collective agreement across engineering, manufacturing, and multifunctional leadership teams.
• Identify, track, and mitigate project risks while escalating unresolved decisions to the SteerCo or Project Sponsor.

Requirements

• Extensive hands-on experience in consumer electronics engineering project management and delivery in robotics, mechatronics, mechanical, electronics, systems, or a closely related field.
• Ability to proactively engage with all parts of the project organization and external partners to ensure alignment, reduce risks, and deliver work outputs.
• Deep understanding of processes, tools, and ways of working within technology development projects.
• Solid experience leading multifunctional teams and people in a related field, collaborating with engineering, quality, procurement, and manufacturing teams.
• Strong communication, motivational, collaboration, and partner leadership skills, with a can-do attitude.
• Entrepreneurial spirit and passion for new technologies and driving innovation.
• Strategic, well-rounded problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
