Product Applications Engineer (Semiconductor)

What you will do

• Support design-win efforts by developing application solutions for new semiconductor products.
• Develop hardware and software tools, demos, evaluation boards, reference designs, and test procedures.
• Create application notes and user guides that communicate product value and simplify customer adoption.
• Present product demonstrations at trade shows and support customer-facing technical discussions.
• Provide solutions to complex application challenges through the Electrical Engineering Forum.
• Perform competitor analysis, bench testing, debugging, validation, and demonstrations using standard laboratory equipment.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• At least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Deep understanding of analog ICs and the challenges involved in designing them into applications.
• Strong customer-facing communication, relationship-building, presentation, technical writing, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a global, cross-functional environment and manage priorities.
• Flexibility to travel 15% of the time.

Nice to have

• Familiarity with Altium Designer and Oxygen.
