Head of Offensive AI Security & Technical Excellence (AI)

Location: Hybrid or remote from an hirify.global office or home location within the UK & Ireland, Greece, US, Mexico, Kuala Lumpur, or APAC delivery regions. Regular domestic and international travel to client sites, hirify.global offices, and industry events is required. The role may require occasional out-of-hours and weekend work.

What you will do

• Build and own offensive AI security testing methodology and testing harnesses for LLMs, agentic systems, and AI-enabled systems.
• Set technical standards, lead peer review, quality assurance, research, and development across Offensive Services.
• Act as a technical sales lead by shaping client scopes, supporting bids and proposals, and presenting to technical and executive stakeholders.
• Lead, develop, and retain pod leads and consultants, defining technical direction, career pathways, and certification plans.
• Deliver client engagements personally against an approximately 40% utilisation target while maintaining hands-on technical credibility.
• Govern AI tooling for delivery and support cross-skilling and pooled resourcing across offensive service lines.

Requirements

• Strong offensive security background with demonstrable AI and machine learning security experience, including LLM or agentic system testing.
• Understanding of model, prompt, data, and supply chain attack surfaces.
• Experience setting technical standards across a multi-discipline offensive security function.
• Experience leading technical teams and mentoring or training junior team members.
• Eligibility to work in the relevant delivery region and satisfactory background screening are required.
• UK & Ireland roles require UK right to work and eligibility for UK security clearance where applicable; international travel is required.

Nice to have

• Published AI security research or tooling.
• Familiarity with AI assurance frameworks and regulation, including the EU AI Act.
• Experience introducing AI into delivery workflows at scale.
• Recognised offensive security certification such as OSAI, CREST CCT, OSCE3, or equivalent.
• Regional language capability and knowledge of local data protection and testing authorisation requirements.
