Managing Consultant - AI Security & Assurance (AI)

Location: London, United Kingdom; hybrid working with at least 2 days per week in the office or on client site, and up to 5 days per week on client site depending on the assignment.

What you will do

• Advise enterprise clients on the secure design, development, and deployment of AI and machine learning systems.
• Act as a trusted advisor and technical architect for AI security and resilience strategies.
• Embed security controls into AI development lifecycles, including data pipelines, model validation, and API integrations.
• Identify and mitigate threats such as prompt injection, model manipulation, model inversion, inference attacks, data poisoning, and unauthorised data egress.
• Translate security, privacy, and regulatory requirements into practical technical safeguards for high-compliance sectors.
• Lead technical discussions and communicate complex AI security risks to CISOs, enterprise architects, and heads of AI.

Requirements

• Understanding of AI and machine learning architectures, including large language models, generative AI, and predictive models.
• Knowledge of secure AI development, DevSecOps for AI, ML security, data pipeline security, model validation, and secure API integration.
• Awareness of AI data privacy risks, data loss prevention, model-output leakage, training data poisoning, and data egress controls.
• Familiarity with AI security frameworks such as the OWASP Top 10 for LLMs and the NIST AI Risk Management Framework.
• Ability to apply requirements from GDPR, the EU AI Act, HIPAA, and SEC/FINRA guidelines to technical security controls.
• Experience leading technical client discussions and explaining complex risks to senior stakeholders; security or cloud certifications are preferred.
