Senior Manager, Architecture & Engineering Design (Theme Parks)

What you will do

• Direct architectural and engineering design coordination for Universal United Kingdom Resort projects.
• Coordinate internal teams, outside design firms, project partners, stakeholders, and architecture and engineering vendors.
• Define and incorporate front-of-house and back-of-house facility program requirements with business, operations, and creative teams.
• Review drawings, specifications, design exhibits, progress reports, and project documentation for creative intent, completeness, accuracy, and development criteria.
• Support requests for proposals, vendor selection, proposal analysis, contract changes, and additional services.
• Prepare teams and documentation for transition to the project development team while supporting environmental, health, and safety responsibilities.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Engineering, or Construction Management, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience managing and developing entertainment or hospitality projects, including theme parks, hotels, retail, food and beverage, or entertainment venues.
• Strong communication, collaboration, and team-environment skills.
• Knowledge of theme park operations, maintenance, major ride and show systems, and construction is preferred.
• Professional architecture or engineering license is preferred.
