TL;DR
Thermal Management Systems Engineer (Sala Al Jadida) (Automotive Thermal and Energy Management): Developing, integrating, simulating, and validating vehicle thermal and energy management systems with an accent on system requirements, architecture, interfaces, and control strategies. Focus on 0D/1D system simulations, verification and validation, calibration, diagnostics, and solving system-level performance gaps through data-driven analysis.
Location: Sala Al Jadida, Morocco; mobile working and flexible worktime are offered.

What you will do
- Define, manage, and maintain system requirements throughout the development lifecycle.
- Perform functional analysis and contribute to system architecture and interface management.
- Lead system-level verification and validation activities.
- Develop, analyze, and optimize thermal and energy management systems using 0D/1D modeling and simulations.
- Refine control strategies and control laws, and support calibration, validation, and troubleshooting with MATLAB/Simulink and INCA.
- Coordinate cross-functional engineering activities, facilitate technical working groups, and provide data-driven technical recommendations.
Requirements
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related field.
- Experience with systems engineering, requirements management, functional analysis, system architecture, and system interface management.
- Strong knowledge of thermal and energy systems, heat transfer, vehicle or system thermal management, vehicle dynamics, powertrain systems, and control strategies.
- Strong data analysis, problem-solving, communication, and teamwork skills.
- Knowledge of automotive diagnostics, including OBD and trouble codes, and understanding of ECU systems.
- Ability to work in or from the Sala Al Jadida, Morocco location under the offered mobile-working arrangement.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of MBSE/SysML.
- Vehicle testing and driving evaluation experience.
- Experience in diagnostics, validation, or calibration.
