Advanced AI Engineer

Location: Kraków, Poland; hybrid or remote within Poland

Salary: 188,000–282,000 PLN per year, plus annual performance bonus and long-term incentives

What you will do

• Build and extend the Python-based agent runtime using LangGraph, LangChain, and Deep Agents.
• Implement stateful agents, harness profiles, tool calling, structured output, human-in-the-loop review, memory, branching, queues, and checkpoint/resume capabilities.
• Develop extensibility and protocol features including Model Context Protocol tool servers and clients, Agent-to-Agent interoperability, and runtime registries.
• Integrate multiple LLM providers, including OpenAI and Gemini, selecting models for different use cases.
• Write tested, production-ready code and contribute to design and code reviews.
• Collaborate with engineering, Applied Science, and application teams to move agent capabilities from experimentation into production.

Requirements

• 3+ years of professional software engineering experience with strong recent Python experience building production systems.
• Experience developing LLM-powered or agentic systems with LangChain, LangGraph, or equivalent frameworks.
• Strong understanding of async Python, API and service design, and relational databases including PostgreSQL.
• Experience with cloud-native systems, Azure or similar platforms, CI/CD, and Docker; familiarity with Kubernetes.
• Ability to write clean, testable code and contribute to component design.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience; English proficiency required for technical communication.

Nice to have

• Experience with Deep Agents, multi-agent or subagent architectures, agent memory, or human-in-the-loop patterns.
• Familiarity with Model Context Protocol or Agent-to-Agent interoperability.
• Experience with RAG, retrieval systems, citations, and evaluating LLM output quality.
• Familiarity with MLflow, OpenTelemetry, LLM observability, infrastructure-as-code, Pulumi, or Terraform.
