Software Engineer (AI/ML)

What you will do

• Develop and refine machine learning models supporting Snowflake’s business.
• Design metrics and experiments to validate model insights and solution quality.
• Build Java and Python services hosted in Snowflake and Kubernetes.
• Develop LLM-based solutions, agents, embeddings, clustering, and summarization workflows.
• Collaborate with product management, design, and partner teams to deliver cross-functional features.
• Identify problems, instrument relevant components, and implement solutions while contributing to product vision and planning.

Requirements

• B.S. or M.S. degree in computer science or an equivalent discipline.
• 3+ years of hands-on software engineering experience.
• 1+ year of professional machine learning experience.
• Interest in state-of-the-art LLM-based solutions.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills and an interest in working with diverse peers and external developers.
• Genuine interest in building software and learning new technologies.
