Data Engineer (Telemetry Data)

Salary: €3,267 gross per month minimum, with the possibility of a higher salary depending on qualifications.

What you will do

• Design and implement scalable pipelines for telemetry data from electronic shelf labels and EdgeSense devices.
• Build and evolve data models and workflows for analytics, dashboards, and reporting.
• Develop and maintain data-processing components in Azure and Snowflake cloud platforms.
• Collaborate with analysts to provide high-quality, accessible telemetry datasets.
• Improve data architecture, tooling, engineering standards, quality, observability, and governance.
• Apply testing, documentation, CI/CD, and data reliability practices.

Requirements

• At least 1 year of professional experience in data engineering or a related field.
• Strong SQL skills and proficiency in Python or another scripting language for data processing and automation.
• Understanding of data modeling, ETL/ELT design, and structured data workflows.
• Experience with cloud-based data platforms such as Azure or Snowflake.
• Ability to work independently on defined tasks and deliver production-ready solutions.
• Good communication and collaboration skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Snowflake Data Cloud or similar data warehouse technologies.
• Experience working with telemetry data from devices, sensors, or field-based systems.
• Experience with Azure Data Factory.
