IMA C2000 PM Technician

Location: Manufacturing facility in Dubai, United Arab Emirates

What you will do

• Close machine safety hazards and monitor compliance with factory safety standards.
• Diagnose and rectify machine breakdowns, minor stops, and quality defects while identifying root causes.
• Carry out preventive maintenance, machine changeovers, and continuous improvements to the PM plan.
• Create breakdown reports, EWOs, and work orders in SAP and CMMS, including records for withdrawn spare parts.
• Maintain machine spare parts and provide input on component life, SMPs, and maintenance improvements.
• Support individual improvement projects and assist with other minor issues on the production line.

Requirements

• Mechanical Technician qualification: ITI, an engineering or maintenance engineering diploma, or a two-year vocational training course.
• Experience maintaining IMA C2000 or other IMA machines and technical knowledge at component level.
• Ability to repair breakdowns, minimize quality defects, resolve minor stops, and complete breakdown analysis and maintenance forms.
• Experience creating work orders in SAP and CMMS.
• English speaking, comprehension, and writing skills are required.
• Basic computer and MS Office knowledge, mathematics, problem-solving, report-writing, and mechanical calculation skills.

Nice to have

• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Manufacturing experience in food and beverage or fast-moving consumer goods.
• Experience with envelope or other tea machines and food safety standards.
• TPM/WCM knowledge, project management experience, and the ability to lead a small team of operators.
