AI Business Translator (Mortgages)

Location: Hybrid in Rotterdam, with two office days per week

Salary: €5,933–€7,910 per month based on a 40-hour workweek, depending on knowledge and experience.

What you will do

• Identify and shape AI opportunities across mortgage operations and customer journeys with Product Owners, business teams, and process experts.
• Translate complex business challenges and processes into structured AI use cases, requirements, success criteria, data mappings, and AI agent orchestration designs.
• Design AI-enabled workflows, defining the division between AI capabilities and human judgement, operational controls, and acceptance criteria.
• Coordinate end-user involvement, testing, implementation, adoption, and continuous improvement of AI-enabled workflows.
• Ensure solutions meet compliance and risk requirements in collaboration with the second line of defence.
• Track business value and advise Product Owners, business leads, and delivery teams on scaling successful AI solutions.

Requirements

• Senior professional with a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree, or equivalent working and thinking level.
• 4–5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, product management, digital transformation, or consulting.
• Experience working at the intersection of business and technology and shaping complex use cases from problem definition through adoption and impact measurement.
• Ability to translate business processes into practical requirements, including data requirements, data mappings, and AI agent orchestration.
• Strong communication, stakeholder alignment, ownership, and analytical skills, with the ability to work effectively without formal authority.
• Interest in AI and innovation, including actively experimenting with AI and large language models; experience with AI/ML initiatives is preferred.

Nice to have

• Experience in banking, mortgages, financial services, or another regulated environment.
• Dutch language proficiency.
