Building Services Engineer (Industrial Projects) (HVAC/Pipework): Designing mechanical building services for industrial projects, from small assignments to large-scale European developments, with an accent on HVAC and pipework systems, project leadership, and regulatory compliance. Focus on managing smaller projects, coordinating with clients and contractors, conducting onsite inspections, and applying Irish, German, and health and safety standards.

Location: Frankfurt, Germany; office-based with onsite inspections

What you will do

Design HVAC and pipework systems for industrial projects.
Lead smaller projects from inception through completion.
Manage project budgets and attend design team meetings.
Conduct onsite inspections and coordinate with clients, contractors, and wider project teams.
Ensure designs comply with Irish Building Regulations, German Standards, design guides, and health and safety regulations.

Requirements

At least 5 years of experience designing mechanical building services, preferably in a consultancy environment.
Honours degree in Building Services Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a similar discipline.
Proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit MEP.
Fluent German and English.

Nice to have

Experience with MagiCAD.
Experience supporting IES, LEED, or BREEAM projects.
