Senior Platform Core DevOps Engineer - Infra (Kubernetes/Kafka)

What you will do

• Manage Infrastructure as Code for Kubernetes clusters, Kafka message brokers, and core infrastructure tooling.
• Build distributed runtime platforms supporting web applications, APIs, and backend services.
• Develop self-service infrastructure platforms and tooling that enable developers to manage applications across environments.
• Improve platform efficiency, performance, scalability, and reliability based on business needs.
• Analyze and resolve complex infrastructure issues while collaborating with cross-functional teams.
• Participate in an on-call support schedule.

Requirements

• Strong experience setting up and administering Kubernetes clusters, preferably with AWS EKS and Rancher RKE.
• Strong experience managing Kafka infrastructure in geo-distributed environments.
• Experience managing cloud infrastructure with Terraform, including Terraform modules and workflows.
• Experience with AWS services such as EC2, ALB, VPC, and EKS, plus scalable and distributed infrastructure.
• Familiarity with Prometheus and Grafana, version control, Linux distributions, and scripting with Python, Bash, PowerShell, or similar.
• Knowledge of IT operations best practices, ITIL, and DevOps principles, with strong problem-solving skills.
