End User Compute Engineer (Microsoft)

Location: Petaling Jaya, Malaysia; on-site and remote technical support required

What you will do

• Manage physical hardware, virtual desktops, and client computing environments to optimise performance and uptime.
• Provide on-site and remote support, diagnosing and resolving hardware, software, and network issues.
• Administer identity and access through Microsoft Entra ID and manage Windows endpoints through SCCM and Intune.
• Manage device imaging, software deployment, operating system patching, compliance, and endpoint security using Defender and BitLocker.
• Support collaboration technologies including Microsoft Teams, Neat meeting room devices, and BrightSign digital signage.
• Gather stakeholder requirements, implement solutions, and lead the evaluation and rollout of new end-user computing technologies.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of experience in end-user computing support and operations, with the ability to work autonomously and own outcomes end-to-end.
• Hands-on experience with Microsoft SCCM, Intune, Defender for Endpoint, and Entra ID.
• Experience supporting AV and collaboration technology, including Teams, Neat, and BrightSign, plus ITSM platforms such as ServiceNow.
• Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with end users and stakeholders.
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice to have

• Microsoft certifications such as MD-102 or MS-102.
• CompTIA A+ certification.
