Project Manager (Solar/EPC)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid working model with approximately 20% travel depending on project needs.

What you will do

• Own the full execution lifecycle of assigned projects and customer accounts from sales handover through commissioning, final acceptance, and invoice collection.
• Build and manage execution plans, schedules, budgets, forecasts, and project performance reporting.
• Coordinate Engineering, Supply Chain, Logistics, Finance, Field Service, Construction, Sales, and Software teams.
• Lead customer and EPC relationships, governance meetings, progress reporting, issue resolution, and change-order management.
• Protect project profitability through P&L ownership, margin control, cost management, invoicing, cash collection, claims, and variation management.
• Manage technical, operational, quality, and safety risks while driving mitigation, recovery actions, lessons learned, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Engineering, Business, or a related field.
• At least 8 years of project management experience, preferably in renewable energy, solar, EPC, construction, mining, or oil and gas.
• Experience managing large-scale infrastructure or industrial projects and working with supply chain, procurement, logistics, and construction functions.
• Strong understanding of PV technology and its applications; experience with solar tracking systems is highly valued.
• Strong leadership, communication, negotiation, customer management, financial, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Fluent English is mandatory; availability to work in a hybrid model in Madrid and travel approximately 20% is required.

Nice to have

• Experience with solar trackers and utility-scale PV projects.
• PMP or equivalent project management certification.
• Experience with Oracle or similar ERP systems.
• Experience with Smartsheet, MS Project, Primavera P6, Jira, or equivalent project management tools.
• Additional language proficiency.
