Delegated Fund Management Oversight Manager (Investment Management)

What you will do

• Oversee non-investment activities and operational due diligence for external fund managers, internal overseas offices, and directly appointed portfolio managers.
• Assess operational risks, controls, attestations, management information, KPIs, incidents, and breach reports.
• Support fund-manager onboarding, offboarding, fund launches, service reviews, change prioritisation, and enhanced due diligence projects.
• Prepare monthly and periodic reporting for oversight groups, supplier-management forums, boards, committees, and internal governance bodies.
• Review and contribute to service-level agreements, investment management agreements, investment guidelines, and governance frameworks.
• Monitor industry developments and regulatory requirements affecting delegated and outsourced investment-management arrangements.

Requirements

• Experience conducting operational due diligence and ongoing oversight of fund managers, delegated managers, or comparable third-party providers.
• End-to-end knowledge of fund-management processes, including order generation, trading, post-trade activities, and the lifecycle of equity or fixed-income transactions.
• Understanding of futures, options, OTC derivatives, fund structures, delegated investment management, outsourcing, supplier oversight, and third-party risk management.
• Experience assessing operational risks, controls, incidents, governance reporting, and presenting to committees, boards, and senior stakeholders.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, influencing, stakeholder-management, and attention-to-detail skills.
• IMC, IOC, or an equivalent investment-management qualification is desirable.
