Group Continuous Improvement and Innovation Engineer (Digital Manufacturing)

Location: Milan, Italy, with remote work flexibility

Salary: Gross annual salary from €45,000, plus an individual or collective variable incentive tied to performance objectives.

What you will do

• Deploy and continuously improve the Group Quality Continuous Improvement framework across regions and manufacturing plants.
• Coordinate with Quality, Operations, and Digital teams to align improvement initiatives with business priorities.
• Lead cross-functional problem-solving, project execution, best-practice sharing, and capability-building activities.
• Support Smart Factory and digital transformation initiatives and integrate them with quality and operational processes.
• Develop global dashboards, KPIs, and reporting tools, and analyze operational and quality data to identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities.
• Contribute to automation, analytics, and AI-based solutions, while delivering training, coaching, and workshops on improvement methodologies.

Requirements

• Degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, Quality, Data Analytics, or a related field.
• At least 5 years of experience in Continuous Improvement, Quality, Manufacturing, Operations Excellence, or Digital Transformation.
• Knowledge of 8D, FMEA, 5 Whys, Pareto Analysis, Root Cause Analysis, Lean Manufacturing, and Six Sigma.
• Experience managing improvement projects and collaborating with international, cross-functional stakeholders.
• Advanced Excel skills, experience with business intelligence tools such as QlikSense, and basic programming knowledge in Python, HTML, or similar.
• Fluent English and availability for international travel up to 50%.
