Civil & Structural Design Engineer

What you will do

• Prepare and review civil and structural calculations, drawings, and specifications for building and infrastructure projects.
• Support structural analysis and design of foundations, superstructures, and associated civil works using Eurocodes, BS, SS, and other relevant design codes.
• Coordinate with architects, MEP engineers, and other disciplines to deliver integrated and buildable solutions.
• Liaise with BCA, PUB, LTA, and other local authorities on regulatory submissions and approvals.
• Review contractor design submissions, shop drawings, and method statements, and conduct site visits to resolve technical issues.
• Support tender documentation, technical specifications, bills of quantities, value engineering, constructability reviews, and technical records.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of relevant civil and structural design experience.
• Proficiency in structural analysis software such as ETABS, SAFE, or STAAD Pro.
• Experience with AutoCAD and Revit/BIM design tools.
• Familiarity with Singapore building codes and regulatory approval processes, including BCA and URA requirements.
• Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
