Board Operator (Amine Facility)

Location: Carlsbad, New Mexico, United States. Onsite role with a 14/14 rotation and 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.

What you will do

• Operate electronic, computerized, and manual control systems for an amine treating facility.
• Monitor instrument control panels and adjust pressure, flow, temperature, and fluid-level controls.
• Oversee equipment controlling product temperature and flow, inspect product, and monitor gauges.
• Troubleshoot equipment and perform routine maintenance activities.
• Record equipment readings and, after qualification, issue and monitor safe work permits.
• Operate in accordance with Process Safety Management and environmental permit requirements.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license.
• Ability to pass a drug test and background check.
• Ability to work 12-hour shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays, on a 14/14 rotation.
• Working knowledge of gas plant operations and process controls.
• Strong safety awareness, mechanical aptitude, attention to detail, communication, computer literacy, and quality control skills.

• Prior Board Operator experience.
