Manager-Production Section (Back Night Production Shift Manager)

What you will do

• Manage direct labor specialists and leads, as well as indirect labor supervisors.
• Drive productivity and sustainable resource utilization within the manufacturing operation.
• Lead, coach, and develop supervisors and specialists.
• Sponsor and participate in continuous improvement teams, remove barriers, and provide direction.
• Lead teams toward factory KPI goals and strengthen employee engagement and morale.
• Provide 24/7 cell-phone coverage and adjust the work schedule or attend meetings when required.

Requirements

• Senior-level supervisory experience in a high-tech, fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• In-depth technical knowledge of manufacturing operations.
• Strong leadership, team building, employee engagement, employee development, and communication skills.
• Experience hiring, training, managing performance, resolving conflicts, and leading change.
• Strong organizational, documentation, writing, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Ability to work in a cleanroom environment, wear required cleanroom garments, and meet the stated physical requirements, including lifting up to 20 lbs and pushing or pulling approximately 50 lbs.

Nice to have

• BS or BA degree in business or a manufacturing-related field.
