Field Service Technician (Electrical Equipment) (Reverse Vending Machines): Maintaining, servicing, repairing, and installing reverse vending machines and bulk processing equipment across Tasmania with an accent on electrical, electronic, mechanical, and mobile communications systems. Focus on diagnosing equipment faults, replacing components, improving product performance, and providing customer support while travelling between sites on a rotating roster.
Location: Launceston, Tasmania, Australia; field work across Tasmania with regular travel between sites and a 7-day rotating roster including weekends.

What you will do
- Service, maintain, clean, and repair reverse vending machines and bulk processing equipment.
- Diagnose faults involving conveyors, sensors, motors, mobile communications, circuit boards, and other electronic components.
- Install kiosks and bulk processing equipment at new sites.
- Report service assignments, faults, and potential product improvements to the local service team.
- Provide customer service to partners and members of the public.
- Drive between customer locations and operate autonomously across the assigned area.
Requirements
- Electrical or Electronic Trade Certificate, or Disconnect-Reconnect Certificate.
- Previous experience in a similar electrical role and face-to-face customer interaction.
- Strong diagnostic and analytical skills for mechanical, electrical, and electronic equipment.
- Experience troubleshooting electronic equipment and replacing circuit boards, sensors, and other components.
- Unrestricted driver’s licence, clean driving record, and willingness to submit a full driving history record.
- Ability to work a 7-day rotating roster, including weekends, and install a charger in a secure location for overnight electric-vehicle charging.
