Senior Architect (Hospitality)

Location: Chicago or Minneapolis, US. Four days per week are spent in the office, with flexibility to work outside the office on Fridays.

Salary: $84,700–$144,430 USD per year, depending on location, experience, and skills.

What you will do

• Lead project development, client relationships, and project implementation with the Project Manager and Project Designer.
• Oversee project documentation, quality assurance and control, practice standards, and protocol compliance.
• Coordinate conceptual design and technical strategies across all building design disciplines.
• Align design intent with schedules, budgets, profitability targets, and project work plans.
• Present design and technical solutions to clients and stakeholders while managing expectations.
• Mentor design teams and drive high-quality, innovative hospitality design delivery.

Requirements

• Undergraduate degree in Architecture and professional licensure.
• Minimum of 8 years of professional architecture experience.
• Strong technical knowledge and the ability to coordinate building design solutions.
• Proficiency in Revit, Bluebeam, and standard architecture software.
• Ability to lead sustainable design principles in technical plans and deliverables.
• Excellent written and verbal communication, organizational skills, and experience supporting professional organizations, marketing, and business development.
