TL;DR
Lead Pipeline Engineer (Onshore Pipeline Design): Leading onshore pipeline design across Pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design with an accent on route selection, optimization studies, scraping philosophy, and pipeline calculations. Focus on leading teams of 15 or more engineers, resolving complex pipeline stresses and crossings, and supporting construction queries in compliance with international standards.
Location: Corniche, Al Khobar, Eastern Region, Saudi Arabia
What you will do
- Lead onshore pipeline design activities across Pre-FEED, FEED, and detailed design.
- Lead a large engineering group of 15 or more team members.
- Perform pipeline route selection and optimization studies.
- Develop and apply scraping philosophies and pipeline calculations for road crossings, upheaval buckling, buoyancy, combined stresses, elastic bends, and related design conditions.
- Support construction queries with practical, standards-compliant engineering solutions.
- Manage multiple priorities and deliver work in line with agreed project milestones.
Requirements
- Minimum 15 years of experience in onshore pipeline design.
- Strong background in pipeline engineering and analytical problem-solving.
- Experience leading teams of 15 or more members.
- Strong knowledge of international standards, including ASME, API, ASTM, MSS SP, ISO, NACE, and DNV.
- Engineering degree in Mechanical Engineering or a relevant field.
- Strong communication and multitasking skills.
Nice to have
- Local Saudi Arabia experience.
- Experience with Civil 3D.
- Experience with 3D model projects.
