Geothermal Monitoring Supervisor (Geothermal)

Location: Te Aro Road, Wairakei, Taupo, Waikato, New Zealand. Candidates must have the right to live and work in New Zealand.

What you will do

• Lead measurement technicians responsible for well testing, compliance, and geothermal resource monitoring.
• Ensure accurate and timely collection of monitoring data and chemistry samples.
• Improve workflows, processes, efficiency, and data quality across the monitoring function.
• Lead or support projects contributing to decarbonisation and operational goals.
• Mentor team members, build capability, and create accountability for high-quality technical outcomes.
• Work with stakeholders across the business to support long-term asset performance and sustainability.

Requirements

• Relevant tertiary qualification or equivalent experience.
• Solid experience in geothermal or a related technical industry.
• Proven ability to lead a team while delivering high-quality technical outcomes.
• Understanding of monitoring, chemistry sampling, data quality, and operational decision-making.
• Strong problem-solving skills, sound judgement, and clear communication.
• Right to live and work in New Zealand is required. Commitment to health, safety, and environmental standards is essential.

• Previous supervisory or leadership experience in a transforming environment.
