What you will do
- Lead electrical engineering scope on medium to large projects from concept through to commissioning.
- Manage project pricing, cost estimation, and scope definition to support bids and proposals.
- Coordinate electrical project delivery, including procurement and management of sub-contractors.
- Provide technical leadership and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
- Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and delivery of requirements.
- Act as a technical authority and ambassador for the company.
Requirements
- Must have New Zealand or Australian residency with full working rights.
- University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
- Proven experience in electrical design and build projects across the full lifecycle.
- Strong understanding of AS/NZS Wiring Regulations and electrical standards.
- Experience in commissioning electrical systems in production or industrial environments.
- Demonstrated capability in project pricing, cost estimation, and risk management.
Nice to have
- Food and beverage industry exposure.
- Understanding of PLC/HMI hardware selection and integration.
- Exposure to Hazardous Area Design and Functional Safety Design.
