Senior Electrical Engineer

What you will do

• Lead electrical engineering scope on medium to large projects from concept through to commissioning.
• Manage project pricing, cost estimation, and scope definition to support bids and proposals.
• Coordinate electrical project delivery, including procurement and management of sub-contractors.
• Provide technical leadership and mentoring to less experienced engineers.
• Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to ensure clear understanding and delivery of requirements.
• Act as a technical authority and ambassador for the company.

Requirements

• Must have New Zealand or Australian residency with full working rights.
• University degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Proven experience in electrical design and build projects across the full lifecycle.
• Strong understanding of AS/NZS Wiring Regulations and electrical standards.
• Experience in commissioning electrical systems in production or industrial environments.
• Demonstrated capability in project pricing, cost estimation, and risk management.

• Food and beverage industry exposure.
• Understanding of PLC/HMI hardware selection and integration.
• Exposure to Hazardous Area Design and Functional Safety Design.
