Senior Accountant (SaaS)

Location: Belgrade, Serbia (hybrid)

What you will do

• Manage vendor selection, contracts, relationships, invoice approvals, and issue resolution.
• Monitor cash flow, bank balances, wire transfers, cash forecasts, liquidity strategies, and banking relationships.
• Develop travel expense policies and review employee expense reports and reimbursements.
• Maintain the general ledger, prepare journal entries and accruals, and perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations.
• Coordinate and review accounting work prepared by external accounting service providers.
• Support compliance activities and internal and external audits.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance.
• 4+ years of general accounting experience.
• Strong mathematical, analytical, organizational, and prioritization skills.
• Experience with accounting software and ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics or SAP.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel.
• Professional fluency in English, written and verbal, is required.
