Accounting Advisory Supervisor

Location: United States / Sioux Falls, SD. The position is onsite for candidates located in Sioux Falls; candidates elsewhere in the U.S. within commuting distance of a hirify.global office are expected to follow a hybrid schedule.

What you will do

• Manage and execute complex accounting and advisory engagements for diverse clients.
• Perform bank and balance sheet reconciliations and lead month-end close activities, including journal entries, accruals, and variance analysis.
• Review financial statements and journal entries for GAAP compliance and client-specific requirements.
• Create financial reports, conduct technical accounting research, and draft clear memos.
• Oversee Associates by allocating work, providing coaching, and delivering feedback.
• Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to resolve accounting issues and improve processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Management.
• Three to five years of experience in public accounting or an industry accounting function.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and accrual accounting.
• Advanced proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems, including QuickBooks, Sage Intacct, and NetSuite.
• Ability to prepare reconciliation schedules, assemble financial statements, suggest supported journal entries, and perform complex financial analysis.
• Excellent communication, leadership, prioritization, and deadline-management skills; CPA license or eligibility is preferred.

• Experience with Bill.com, Expensify, Ramp, or Concur.
• CPA license or eligibility.
