Senior Infrastructure Engineer (Kubernetes)

Location: New York City office, on-site 4 days per week

Salary: $200K–$230K base salary, plus equity and bonus

What you will do

• Build and maintain the EKS cluster module and reusable infrastructure patterns.
• Own development, staging, and production cluster environments end to end.
• Drive safe, staged infrastructure migrations and remove technical blockers.
• Consolidate infrastructure observability on Datadog and establish monitoring standards.
• Manage AWS networking, IAM, and core services using infrastructure-as-code.
• Maintain secure-by-default, reliable, and cost-aware cloud environments.

Requirements

• 5–8 years of experience in infrastructure, platform, or DevOps engineering with ownership of production systems.
• Hands-on Kubernetes experience, preferably with EKS.
• Strong Terraform or comparable infrastructure-as-code experience.
• Solid AWS fundamentals, including networking, IAM, and core platform services.
• Experience with Datadog or a comparable observability stack.
• Ability to execute autonomously and favor simple, durable systems.

Nice to have

• Experience in regulated or healthcare environments, including HIPAA or PHI.
