Commercial Project Manager (Biotechnology)

Location: Philadelphia, PA, United States. Hybrid arrangement with a minimum of 3 days per week onsite. The role is not eligible for relocation assistance.

Salary: $144,000–$168,000 annually in the San Francisco Bay Area; ranges for non-California locations may vary. Compensation also includes comprehensive benefits and equity.

hirify.global is recruiting for a biotechnology and vaccine-focused organization supporting pharmaceutical commercial launches.

What you will do

• Manage integrated commercial launch schedules, milestones, dependencies, critical paths, decisions, and execution risks.
• Establish meeting governance, including cadences, agendas, decisions, action items, and follow-up.
• Coordinate Commercial and functional workstreams across Medical Affairs, Regulatory, Market Access, Trade and Distribution, Supply, IT, and related areas.
• Maintain risk logs, dashboards, status reports, communications, and launch-readiness visibility.
• Support capacity planning, demand management, resource allocation, and leadership decisions on resource constraints.
• Develop project management KPIs and improve processes, tools, templates, and reporting standards.

Requirements

• MS or BS degree in life sciences or biotechnology; advanced degree preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• 8+ years of project management experience in the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or vaccines industry.
• Experience supporting commercial launch readiness and managing cross-functional timelines, dependencies, risks, governance, and communications.
• Experience with digital tools, platforms, dashboards, project management systems, and Enterprise Planning software for resource planning.
• Experience with direct sales or field commercial models, including non-prescription or buy-and-bill channels; prescription-only experience is insufficient.
• Strong written, oral, influence-management, and communication skills; working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Visio, and Project.

• PMP certification or formal project management training.
• Advanced degree in life sciences or biotechnology.
