What you will do
- Grind and prepare feed and feed ingredient samples for enzyme activity analysis.
- Perform enzyme assays, nutritional analyses, and other laboratory testing according to established procedures.
- Prepare reagents, buffers, and laboratory solutions.
- Support calibration, verification, and maintenance of laboratory equipment.
- Maintain inventories of chemicals, consumables, and glassware.
- Manage laboratory records, support safety activities, and maintain MSDS documentation.
Requirements
- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Biochemistry, Microbiology, Biotechnology, Animal Nutrition, or a related scientific discipline.
- Basic understanding of laboratory techniques, analytical testing, and scientific methodologies.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate, traceable documentation.
- Ability to follow laboratory safety procedures and quality standards.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple tasks, and communicate effectively.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of enzymes and their applications in animal nutrition or the feed industry.
- Previous internship, academic project, or laboratory experience in biochemical, microbiological, or analytical testing.
- Familiarity with inventory management, equipment calibration, and reagent preparation.
