Lifting Engineer (Oil & Gas)

What you will do

• Develop detailed lifting plans and method statements for cranes, hoists, winches, and specialized lifting gear.
• Select slings, shackles, spreader beams, cranes, and other equipment based on load, geometry, and working environment.
• Coordinate contractors’ heavy equipment and oversee rigging crews during complex or critical lifts.
• Lead toolbox talks and lifting safety briefings.
• Ensure personnel have the skills, training, resources, equipment, and tools required for safe routine maintenance activities.

Requirements

• At least 5 years of Oil & Gas maintenance experience with a diploma, or at least 3 years with a degree.
• Third-party certified lifting and rigging qualification.
• Strong technical understanding of maintenance management for Oil & Gas facilities.
• Well organized and proactive, with strong communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to exercise sound judgment under pressure, resolve problems, and achieve business results in a multicultural environment.
• Flexibility to travel internationally and live in Saudi Arabia.
