Senior Software/Web Developer (Vue.js)

Location: Onsite in Springfield, Virginia, United States

Salary: $160,000–$170,000 annually

Kentro provides technology and mission-support services for government and commercial customers, including the NGA Vertex IT Services contract.

What you will do

• Build and maintain web applications, user interfaces, charts, reports, workflows, forms, modules, and mission-data visualizations.
• Develop and review HTML, CSS, JavaScript, Vue.js, and related web code, integrating multimedia and enterprise data sources.
• Support databases, schemas, APIs, Enterprise Services, automated workflows, legacy-data migration, and real-time information access.
• Integrate PKI and Identity and Access Management capabilities and support vulnerability-alert remediation, security patches, scans, and compliance controls.
• Troubleshoot application, database, performance, UX, latency, backup, and outage issues; perform root-cause and problem management.
• Collaborate with analysts, data engineers, designers, enterprise teams, customers, and stakeholders while documenting procedures and training personnel.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related discipline and 10+ years of related experience.
• Advanced capability with HTML5, CSS3, XML, JavaScript, jQuery, Vue.js, LESS, and SASS.
• Advanced capability with Git, Adobe tools, MAP Publisher, and Visual Studio.
• Experience or familiarity with the US Intelligence Community and GEOINT, plus the ability to translate mission requirements into technical functions.
• Active TS/SCI clearance, willingness and ability to obtain and maintain a CI polygraph, and US citizenship are required.
• Ability to lead and coordinate projects independently while following established standards, processes, and workflows.

Nice to have

• PHP, Python, C#, C++, ColdFusion, AngularJS, TypeScript, Express, Vuetify, Django, Model Glue, AWS, MySQL, and relational database administration experience.
• Experience with NGA systems, non-cloud web servers, Enterprise Services, SharePoint, and government or commercial software development.
• Experience converting Excel or Access databases and building REST services with TypeScript and Express.
