2027 Spring Co-op Oncology Research (Oncology)

Location: Cambridge, Massachusetts, United States; onsite, 40 hours per week, Monday–Friday, for the full six-month co-op

Salary: $29–$45 per hour, based on demonstrated experience

What you will do

• Perform, analyze, and present experimental results.
• Develop and execute cell-based assays using human cancer models.
• Evaluate signaling cascades to understand the biology of novel therapeutic molecules.
• Apply molecular, cellular, and biochemical techniques to investigate cancer therapeutics.
• Communicate scientific findings effectively in written and oral formats.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in chemistry, biochemistry, molecular biology, cellular biology, or a related field.
• Completed the freshman year; junior or senior standing is preferred.
• Remain enrolled at an accredited college or university throughout the co-op.
• Must be permanently authorized to work in the United States and must not require employment visa sponsorship now or in the future.
• Must be able to relocate to the Cambridge office and work onsite full time for the entire co-op.
• Strong attention to detail, scientific rigor, and written and verbal communication skills.

Nice to have

• Previous laboratory experience.
• Experience with cell-based assays and molecular biology techniques.
• Background in immunology.
• Familiarity with genomic medicine, including mRNA and siRNA technologies.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively.
