Chemical Manufacturing Technician I (API Manufacturing)

What you will do

• Operate API manufacturing equipment to achieve production goals.
• Inspect and handle manufacturing equipment and supplies within the facility.
• Support safe operations in chemical manufacturing environments, including areas with hazardous or odorous materials.
• Work shifts of up to 12 hours while maintaining awareness of personnel and equipment safety.

Requirements

• Must be able to work onsite in Petersburg, Virginia.
• Ability to move equipment and supplies weighing up to 33 pounds.
• Ability to remain on your feet for up to a 12-hour shift and operate equipment using your hands.
• Ability to work in loud, hot, cold, elevated, and potentially confined-space environments as required.
• Ability to use required personal protective equipment, including hearing protection and potentially latex gloves.
• May need to obtain a lift license and operate a lift depending on the role.
