Senior Manager Clinical Drug Supply & Logistics (Biotech)

What you will do

• Lead clinical drug supply planning and demand forecasting for individual studies and clinical programs.
• Manage investigational product inventory, manufacturing timelines, labeling, release, distribution, returns, destruction, and expiry activities.
• Oversee shipments to investigator sites and monitor supply activities through IVRS/IWRS from study start-up through closeout.
• Develop strategies for ancillary and comparator supplies and contribute to IP-related protocols, manuals, study tools, and training materials.
• Represent Clinical Drug Supply & Logistics on cross-functional study teams and act as an escalation point for IP-related issues.
• Manage vendor performance, budgets, contracts, specifications, RFPs, invoices, and deliverables.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years of relevant biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry experience, including at least 5 years in clinical supply management.
• Alternatively, a master's degree, MBA, or PharmD with at least 5 years of relevant industry experience.
• Experience with clinical supply planning, inventory management, distribution, returns, expiry management, and regulatory requirements.
• Working knowledge of Interactive Response Technologies such as IVRS and IWRS.
• Experience managing CROs, clinical supply vendors, budgets, contracts, timelines, and cross-functional stakeholders.
• May require up to 25% travel; may include supervision, mentoring, and coaching of staff.
