Health & Safety Manager (Spain)

Compensation: €49,000 – €59,000 per year plus equity

What you will do

• Lead the design, implementation, and management of hirify.global’s Internal Prevention Service (Servicio de Prevención Propio) in Spain.
• Perform workplace risk assessments and investigate work-related accidents or illnesses.
• Act as the primary subject matter expert for Spain-specific Health & Safety escalations.
• Manage relationships with HSE vendors and represent the company during Labor Inspection visits.
• Collaborate on global HSE policies and support H&S committees worldwide.
• Leverage AI and automation to improve service quality and reporting workflows.

Requirements

• Must be based in Spain with the right to work.
• Master’s degree in Occupational Risk Prevention (Técnico Superior en Prevención de Riesgos Profesionales) with three specializations.
• Deep technical knowledge of Spanish occupational risk prevention regulations.
• English proficiency: C1 level or above.
• Proven experience in vendor management and driving cross-functional H&S initiatives.
• Ability to translate complex regulatory requirements into practical advice for a remote workforce.

• Conversational or fluent proficiency in multiple languages.
• Experience in a fast-paced global tech environment or startup.
• Background in international compliance or Employer of Record (EOR) models.
