AI Engineer

Location: Paris, France; hybrid setup with remote work possible, but Paris is preferred and office presence matters during onboarding and team dynamics

Salary: €60,000–€80,000 fixed annually, depending on experience

What you will do

• Build conversational and voice-driven AI agents connected to industrial data and used by frontline teams.
• Take AI prototypes from alpha to production quality by improving answer quality, reliability, and cost per interaction.
• Prototype and validate customer-facing use cases in short, fast-moving cycles.
• Design agentic capabilities from scratch in TypeScript and Deno using frontier models through AWS Bedrock.
• Shape technical direction through architecture discussions, code reviews, and independent proposals.
• Contribute to existing beta features, ramp up on the product, and ship initial proofs of concept during the first three months.

Requirements

• 4–5 years or more of software engineering experience with strong design and architecture skills.
• Daily hands-on use of AI to build software.
• Ability to work effectively in ambiguity, make decisions, adapt to changing roadmaps, and ship.
• Evidence of building, prototyping, testing, and iterating on products from zero.
• Fluency in French and English is required.
• Technical experience with TypeScript and the ability to work with complex systems.

Nice to have

• Hands-on experience with agentic systems.
• Data experience, including dataset work and analysis of system successes and failures.
• Experience explaining and evangelising technical work across product teams.
