Senior Full Stack Software Engineer (Healthcare)

Location: Addison, TX, United States — onsite

Salary: $115,000–$135,000 per year

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain modern full-stack enterprise applications and services.
• Build APIs, backend services, integrations, and user-facing applications.
• Develop secure, scalable, reliable, and maintainable software using modern engineering practices.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate complex needs into effective technology solutions.
• Participate in architecture discussions, technical design, code reviews, testing, observability, and performance improvements.
• Contribute to engineering standards, continuous learning, and a culture of ownership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of professional software engineering experience building production applications, or equivalent expertise.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, architecture, and design patterns.
• Experience building enterprise applications across backend and frontend layers, including APIs and system integrations.
• Experience with relational databases, data-driven applications, cloud-hosted applications, containers, and CI/CD practices.
• Primary technologies: Python, Django or similar backend frameworks, Vue or similar frontend frameworks, REST APIs, SQL Server, Azure, Docker, Git, and CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Nice to have

• Experience with Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Container Apps, Azure Service Bus, Azure DevOps, Application Insights, or Azure Monitor.
• Experience with React, Angular, FastAPI, Flask, .NET, Java/Spring, Node, AWS, or Google Cloud.
• Experience in healthcare, financial services, insurance, or another regulated industry.
• Experience with authentication, authorization, role-based access controls, enterprise integrations, and mentoring engineers.
